YOUR GENEROUS MONTHLY GIFT COULD CHANGE THE LIFE OF A WOMAN OF
RADHA KUNDA
Not only that, when you sponsor a widow, you are also supporting the sacred locations and widowed communities around Radha Kunda that she helps care for, every day.

SPONSOR A WIDOWED WOMAN
Meet our widowed Sadhavis who need your sponsorship & hear their stories.
We empower and employ widowed women of Radha Kunda in Vrindavan who make a difference in their communities. By sponsoring one of our widowed women and her needs, you also sponsor her efforts to protect sacred temples and waterways, provide prasadam meals for widows, local women, children, and sadhus in need, and uplift the community she loves.

HER JOURNEY
Meet Madhubala
Meet our widowed Sadhavis who need your sponsorship & hear their stories.
Madhubala grew up in a small village in Navadvip, West Bengal. Because her family could not afford to educate her, she never had the opportunity to attend school. She married at sixteen and went on to raise four children: three sons and a daughter.
Although her marriage was peaceful, Vrindavan steadily became the center of her heart. Each year, she traveled here from West Bengal, and over time, she felt increasingly drawn to remain. At the age of fifty-six, she made the courageous decision to relocate to Vrindavan permanently, dedicating her life to seva. She felt a deep connection to Radha Kunda and longed to spend her days in its sacred shelter.
Madhubala found RadhaSeva after entering vanaprastha, retired from married life, and she began serving in our kitchen as a cook for the widowed ladies, helping prepare and provide daily meals. Now in her sixties, she has been serving with us for over a decade. Nearly six years ago, her husband passed away in Navadvip. Although she was heartbroken by the news, she gracefully entered the widows' ashram, having a loving community to support her.
Today, alongside the RadhaSeva kitchen team, she continues to cook and distribute meals for nearly 200 widowed women every single day. She lives in our on-site widows’ ashram, where she hopes to spend the rest of her life in peaceful service, close to her beloved Radha Kunda.
