Teen (Three) Goswami Mandir
Cleaning (34.5).jpg
Just 20 meters from Śrī Śrī Rādhā-Govinda temple sits the samadhi of the three Goswami’s, Śrīla Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvāmi, Śrīla Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmi, and Śrīla Raghunatha dasa Gosvāmi. Pilgrims and devotees from around the world come to visit this holy place. Though they left this world in different years, these three Gosvāmi’s all left on the same day. When you glance inside through the door you will see three square marble platforms, on our left is Śrīla Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvāmi’s samadhi, Śrīla Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmi’s samadhi is in the center, and Śrīla Raghunatha dasa Gosvāmi’s samadhi is to our right. Due to fear of the Moguls desecrating the shrine, on the order of Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmi, the bodies of these great saints were cremated and entombed here.

Meet Purnima,

Purnima is a Brijwasi, a Vrindavan local, and a widow. She has been with RadhaSeva for over ten years, and every day she keeps the Teen Goswami Samadhi and the alley leading up sparkling clean.

Without doing this work, this ancient temple, hundreds of years old, would be in severe disrepair from the wear and tear of millions of pilgrims who come to visit each year, and the road leading up to it would be impossible to walk through with the heaps of garbage left behind. Because of Purnima, this temple is in beautiful condition and easily accessible for those who visit and come to pray.
