Monthly seva is a powerful gift to the widows of Vrindavan.

By giving monthly, widows receive your commitment to love in action, the steady heartbeat that sustains the sacred rhythm of life for these vulnerable widowed women.

By offering monthly support, you become part of a spiritual and profoundly transformative community and help nourish over 200 widowed women. You provide daily prasadam meals and help them keep the sacred waters of Radha Kunda and Shyama Kunda clean and beautiful. You support the songs of devotion, the daily offerings, and the care of temple spaces.

Your ongoing contribution gives these women dignity, stability, and community. It gives them a place to serve, to heal, and to thrive.

On Akshaya Tritiya—a day when blessings multiply endlessly—your recurring seva becomes a thread woven into their lives and yours that provides continual blessings.

CREATING A LEGACY OF LOVE

By becoming a monthly donor, you honor motherhood in its most universal form and catalyze profound changes in the lives of these deserving women by giving them a second chance at life within a community that supports and empowers them. Today, Phueshwari has become part of our RadhaSeva community to empower widowed women and has dedicated her life to cooking for over 200 widowed women in her community who need support and daily resources like her. By sponsoring Phuleshwari and women like her, you are helping transform an entire community of mothers who have otherwise been left without care.

Meet Phuleshwari, a widow of Vrindavan, India. On this auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, a day that celebrates unending prosperity and good fortune, we invite you to extend a gesture of divine giving to her and widowed women like her. These women have been left to navigate their grief alone. Despite extreme hardships, these women embody strength and grace under challenging circumstances. Phuleshwari was married in a rural village without an opportunity for education.

After the death of her husband, she was without care or support in her community, her son helpless and unable to support her in her time of extreme vulnerability and need. Instead, like many widowed women of India, she traveled thousands of miles alone to reach Vrindavan with the hope of dignity, sanctuary, and support.

About Akshaya Tritiya –
A Day of Inexhaustible Blessings

sb1.jpg

Akshaya means that which never diminishes — that which is eternal, ever-increasing, and auspicious. Akshaya Tritiya is one of the most sacred and powerful days in the Vedic calendar, celebrated on the third day (Tritiya) of the bright half (Shukla Paksha) of the month of Vaishakha. It is a day of divine beginnings and limitless spiritual benefit.

On this day, any offering, donation, prayer, or service performed is said to yield eternal results — never diminishing in this life or the next. It is considered the perfect time to begin a spiritual practice, make an offering, or give in charity.

The Story of Sudama and Lord Krishna

Akshaya Tritiya is closely associated with the heart-touching story of Sudama, a poor brahmana and dear friend of Lord Sri Krishna. With nothing but a small bag of chipped rice, Sudama approached Krishna not for help—but to simply see his beloved friend.Touched by Sudama’s humility and devotion, Lord Krishna welcomed him with great love and in return for his modest offering, blessed him with boundless prosperity. Yet, Sudama remained humble, devoted, and surrendered—attaining perfection through love and simplicity. This story reminds us that even the smallest, most heartfelt seva offered to the Lord is returned with divine grace and eternal reward.

Other Divine Events of Akshaya Tritiya

The appearance of the sacred Ganga River from the spiritual realm
The day Ved Vyasa began composing the Mahabharata, transcribed by Lord Ganesha
The day the Pandavas, and most specifically Draupadi, received the Akshaya Patra, a vessel of limitless food
The appearance of Lord Parashurama, the warrior incarnation of Lord Vishnu
The welcoming of Lord Krishna back to Dwaraka by His loving devotees

“Seva performed on Akshaya Tritiya is never lost
— it multiplies eternally.”

This Akshaya Tritiya, let your generosity become eternal. Begin your monthly giving. Support devotion. Create lasting change.
