Results

Our students have taken spiritual initiation into the International Society for Krishna Consciousness during or after their education in Padma Academy. All our graduates are committed to Vaisnava tradition and culture, and either support devotional causes or directly participate. All our graduates live as honorable members of society.

 

Our graduates are accepted into such colleges and universities as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Northeastern, Boston University, Greensboro College, and Guilford College, and they typically achieve outstanding grades at universities. Those who transfer from Padma Academy to other schools generally function at or above grade level and are often placed in honors programs.

Urmila devi dasi, who acted as Padma Academy's principal, head teacher and curriculum coordinator for over 20 years has been presenting in-service seminars for school administrators, teachers, parents and community leaders throughout America, Europe, and India, as well as in Trinidad. She has produced a thirty hour course to train beginning school administrators, several sections of which she has piloted to appreciative audiences.
